Logistics Technician - London - Long term Contract
An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for an established global provider.
The right candidate will be reporting in to the Logistics Manager.
Logistics Inventory System experience required.
As a Logistics Technician you will be required to:
*Manage input to and reporting from the Inventory Database and Stock Control Systems.
*Input and manage your activity tickets in the Helpdesk ticketing tool
*Repair faulty equipment.
*Ensure the stock quota is replenished on a daily basis to maintain adequate spares to furnish our contractual commitment.
*Attend customer's site to recover/replace faulty equipment.
*Generation of various management reports from existing databases and other tools such as Excel.
Essential Skills and pre requisites:
*Must have experience working with Inventory systems.
*You will be experienced in working with stock control systems and processes.
*You will be experienced in managing and assessing stock levels against minimum quantities and driving purchasing and repair activities from such activities.
*You will be proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite and be computer literate.
*You will have experience of working within a Quality Controlled environment.
