HR Generalist
1 Year Maternity Cover

Salary: £35k
The UK's leading Insurance Company are currently looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join their team on a 1 year Maternity contract. This could very likely be extended.
The ideal HR Generalist will be either CIPD qualified or part qualified.
Key Responsibilities for the HR Generalist:
To manage and provide a service to Line Managers in respect of advice and support on Generalist HR activities including but not limited to:
- Employee Relations
- Performance Management
- Recruitment
- Managing absence
- To be a visible HR contact for Managers and Staff referring upwards where necessary
- To inform and train managers on HR related issues to encourage effective people management through consistent deployment of best practice HR policies and procedures.
- Recruitment authority of up to £10,000 per vacancy
- Regular travel to other offices as required by the needs of the role
- Understand how Risk management, control and mitigation principles relate to both your own role and your divisional activities and report any risk events/losses.

- Word, Excel, Outlook, PeopleSoft, PowerPoint, Taleo
