Role Summary/Purpose
Software Engineer required to meet demand on an existing avionics military displays project.
In this role, you will be part of a team formalising an already developed software baseline to DO-178B Level A standards in a traditional software development environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Develop UML Design based on the Implementation baseline and perform Validation & Verification using sound engineering principles, adhering to business standards, practices, procedures and product/program requirements.
* Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
* Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Experience of a developing UML constructs using Artisan Real Time Studio desired.
* Experience of software design life cycle within Aerospace industry.
* Experience developing and validating to RTCA DO-178B/EUROCAE ED-12B or similar safety critical standard
* Experience of Software Development using C
* Experience in productive use of configuration tools (eg Dimensions)
* Strong technical aptitude
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Good problem solving and solution building skills

This position is for a UK Military projects and successful applicants will be required to have or gain SC level clearance.
