Part Time Nurse Practitioner - West London UCC

My Client is a leading independent Healthcare provider and has centres nationwide covering GP practices, Walk in Centres, Urgent Care Centres and OOH services.

We are recruiting for the role of Nurse Practitioner for a recently established NHS Treatment centre based within Ealing Hospital, Southall. You may already be a Prescriber or be working toward a Prescribing qualification. The AfC banding for this role is Level 7/8.

There is a Part Time post of 16 - 24 hours. Interviews are being held at the earliest convenience with inductions in February or March. We are looking for NPs who can work days/nights/weekends as these services will be 24 hours a day year round.

Your primary duties are to assist in the provision of a quality, GP led service to patients attending the Urgent and Unscheduled Care Service. You will often work autonomously within your sphere of competency whilst being a support and resource to less experienced members of staff. Although autonomous Practice is an expectation, the ability to work across multi disciplinary boundaries and in accordance with a Doctor's instruction is crucial with interdependency between nursing and medical functions a critical indicator of success.

You will have a keen interest to educate, provide leadership and have a flexible approach to working in practice and a willingness to develop new approaches to care.

The post holder will have full registration with the NMC, significant post-qualification experience with the last year being in either a Emergency Care, Urgent Care, a Walk in Centre or a clinical environment where children and adults receive unscheduled care.

A comprehensive Job description and Person Specification is available on request.

Remuneration package is very competitive, and can be fully discussed at interview together with details of superannuation, CPD, annual leave and other benefits and entitlements.

Salary is commensurate to experience. A Prescriber will be offered pro-rata £46,000 to £48,000 and a non-Prescriber, pro-rata £40,000 to £44,000 plus pension, uniform and life assurance.

If you feel you have the relevant skills and experience to really make a difference, please send an updated CV with a summary of your skills to or call .
