Requirements
We are looking for a Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist who is looking to work in the Hampshire region on a part time basis. The case load is a small specialist case load of mainly 6th form pupils with SLI and other specific leaning difficulties following a supported academic curriculum in an independent residential secondary school. Many pupils have statements of educational needs and are funded by their local authorities. My client are a small, friendly and supportive team of 7 therapist and an SLTA. Experience with the age group is desirable but not essential but experience in working in an educational setting with pupils with language and/or social communication needs would be necessary. The post is likely to be approximately 2.5 days per week although exact hour are based on pupil numbers to be confirmed.
