Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Newcastle

Our client has a vacancy for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work within a Community Learning Disabilities Team based in Newcastle. This is a contract position with an immediate start. The pay rate for this job is 25 per hour.

Duties Include -
- Completing assessment of need in respect of an individual's safety and independence within their home or temporary residential environment.
-To take a pro-active approach to supervision and personal development.
- Provision and installation of appropriate disability equipment and adaptations to meet assessed needs.
- Monitoring and reviewing of cases in a multi disciplinary forum.

Requirements -
Applicants must have a recognised Occupational Therapist qualification, be HPC registered and have an in-date CRB. All applicants applying for this role must have at least 2 years NHS experience.
