A Locum Consultant Neurologist required for a medium sized acute NHS Foundation Trust.

Based in the Midlands this is an excellent opportunity for a consultant Neurologist, the Trust is a principal provider of acute hospital provider for people in Staffordshire.

The post is to join a team of consultants and you will be expected to become involved in all aspects of the Department including teaching, audit, and research, elective and emergency care.

In this role you will be responsibilities will include:

*Cover for the absence of Consultant colleagues within the specialty on a flexible basis agreed between the consultants in the team, for annual, study and professional leave.
*Supervise and manage the work of junior medical staff working within the
Specialty.
*Take a full part in the induction programme of junior medical staff.
*To take responsibility for the professional supervision and appraisal of junior medical staff, in conjunction with colleagues.
*Travelling to other Hospital's to support Consultants in specialised centres

To be considered for the role you must have Full GMC Registration and have extensive work experience as a Neurologist at a Consultant level or a Senior Specialist Registrar
