Fresh Medical Recruitment has a position available for a GP locum in Kent from 23/01/2012 to 31/03/2012. This locum is for Weekday Shifts.

Shifts:

GP locum required to support a 10 bed transition unit in a South London Hospital until 31st march 2012 with immediate start.

You will be required to cover 0900-1700hrs Monday to Friday

The locum will be required to provide basic medical cover for the 10 patients who are essentially medically stable but have complex discharge arrangements, either waiting for placement, waiting for intermediate care at home or in a bed based unit, or waiting for a rehabilitation bed at another hospital.

The locum will be supported by a consultant geriatrician and the ward team.

There will be an additional 13 patients on the ward where the locum may be required to get involved supporting the registrar and the consultant geriatrician for that team. This would be on an as and when basis during the working week.

Pay Rate for this locum is up to 68.5 per hour depending on experience.

Applicants must have:
* GP Performers List with local PCT or LHB
* GMC GP registration
* Permission to work in the UK
* Relevant experience (Experience of working as a GP in the NHS is essential)

Assistance will be provided with regard to accommodation and travel arrangements on some occasions.
