Procurement or Buyer Planner, 6 months rolling contract for £350 per day pay

My client has a long term contract for someone with buying or procurement planning experience to analyse where the business has parts shortages. You will then be required to work with the business to ensure that these can be procured and utilised. Following this, you will need to 'own' the sourcing of these parts to ensure the least possible impact to your clients and then work to ensure any problem areas are highlighted, offering solutions and alternatives where necessary.

Procurement or Buyer Planners should have:

  • Bachelors Degree required with some bias in Supply Chain Planning
  • Technology environment experience with knowledge of Electronics and PCB's
  • Some Project Management skills preferred
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Prior experience with products at end of service life (EOSL)
  • Solid spreadsheet and analytical experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
