HR Performance- Project Manager

A large rail company are currently looking for HR Performance- Project Manager. Professional Development & Training is part of Human Resources (HR) which provides support on all people related issues for The Rail company. We're responsible for creating an environment that attracts and engages high performing individuals to deliver operational excellence for Britain's railway. Our approach is a pragmatic one, challenging where appropriate and professional in all areas of delivery.

Professional Development & Training are responsible for delivering professional and vocational training to our workforce to ensure safety and compliance regulations are adhered to and that our employees have the right skills to deliver a safe, world class railway.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Management - support, set-up & track Succession & Development Forums across the client:-
  • Support development, pilot & rollout of Succession & Development Forums across the client
  • Support the set up and management of assessment for development for our top leaders
  • Support the development of HRBP population in supporting leaders with the talent and engagement strategy
  • Inform the development of a data management system which provides access to organisational talent data
  • Inform the KPIs & process for tracking career moves
  • Review and discuss feedback with key client groups (the Business and BP Leads) to capture outcomes and make recommendations
  • Support ongoing review, enhancement and communication of Talent & Succession approach for NR, aligned to our enhanced approaches to Performance Management & People Planning
    Engagement - track & trend Engagement Action Planning across the client
    Set up, prepare & follow-up regular sessions with the Champion Group & Core Team
  • Follow-up & track rolled up action plans for success stories
  • Support the development of a Pulse survey for 2012

Experience/Skills

  • Gravitas and experience of working with senior leaders
  • Highly desirable to have HR experience in Talent/Succession/Engagement
    Project delivery experience
  • Process orientated
  • Data management & excel knowledge
  • Results focused/deliverer
  • Worked within a complex customer orientated and commercial environment
  • Strong collaborator with a passion for problem solving and results orientated
  • Written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
