My client is based in London and is on the market looking for an experienced HSE Manager with a very strong background in construction/manufacturing ideally within the Oil and Gas sector.
Main duties will include:
Role:
Contribute towards the HSE focal point and site management on various HSE issues
Establish and integrate HSE policies and Practices into our client's business as well as integrating HSE policies into client's operations
Implement or modify HSE programs and procedures to establish company compliance accordingly
Conduct and lead HSE education Programs as and when required
Manage functions-related cost across site
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree (or a high school diploma/with proven years of experience with HSE systems)
- Strong, well established history or experience with exposure to several HSE areas preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to liaise effectively internally (with all levels within the company) as well as externally (organisations outside regulatory agencies)
- Strong Project Management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Six Sigma training would be highly beneficial
- Proven record/experience in process or industrial engineering
This is an urgent requirement, paying very high day rates for the right candidate. The top rate will be awarded to the HSE manager who has all the skills required by the client and most importantly, immediately available.
