The Financial Accounting IT department provides technology solutions and support services to the Financial Accounting, which provides accounting policy and advisory, legal entity reporting, capital and balance sheet management, corporate governance and control, including Sarbanes-Oxley management.

High quality analysis of business processes, system configuration and technical requirements for projects to implement changes to the PeopleSoft General Ledger. In each large project, or on encapsulated continuous improvement requests, the business analyst may be responsible for
defining future business processes using PeopleSoft GL, balancing the need for an efficient process with the cost of customizing the system
analysing and reviewing functional configuration options of PeopleSoft GL
analysing technical customization options in PeopleSoft GL
defining reporting, interface and conversion requirements
integration testing of interfaces, reports and customizations
defining acceptance test plans and scripts
providing guidance on implementation processes and techniques
analysing and reviewing system performance
peer reviews of requirement specifications

Required Skills:
Excellent functional, technical and product knowledge of Peoplesoft Financials, particularly General Ledger
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in a number of PeopleSoft/Financials modules that may include GL and Consolidations.
Excellent analysis skills to define functional and technical requirements related to Peoplesoft Financials enhancements and changes
Knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools in particular AppEngine, PeopleTools
Good SQL skills in Oracle databases.
Excellent problem solving skills. Structured, methodical thinker.
Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
Full understanding of project life cycle and development methodologies.
Prior experience delivering systems and driving convergence in a global environment.
Ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels.

Required Workforce Experience/Background:
Significant experience as business analyst or functional/technical architect for Peoplesoft Financials, particularly General Ledger
Hands on experience with implementing PeopleSoft in a global environment.
Prior experience working with OBIEE reporting desired.
Exposure to batch scheduling packages such as Control-M desired.
Significant Investment Banking Experience
Significant accounting experience
