A Principal Social Worker is required by my Local Authority Client. You will have knowledge of child care legislation (Children Act 1989/2004)/theory of practice and child development. Experience of working with children and families in the court arena and the ability to give clear concise verbal evidence. You will have a GSCC recognised social work qualification and a current GSCC certificate will be a condition of appointment.

You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be IT literate (Microsoft applications word/excel etc).

You will have CRB enhanced disclosure.
