Debt Manager Development Analyst - 6 months - East Sussex.

The role will be working specifically on managing changes to the Debt Manager v6.2 system provided by FICO. A minimum of 2 years real experience of implementing Debt Manager changes to meet business requirements is preferred, together with first rate communication skills.

You will be required to analyse, design, build and test Debt Manager changes. Undertake requirements gathering and produce specification and process documentation whilst utilising your specialist knowledge of Debt Manager to ensure all relevant information is available to inform and share the design and implementation of changes with key stakeholders.

A background in Collections and Recoveries would be beneficial. A proven ability to work on your own initiative as well as the ability to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills is key.

Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the research, analysis, of new concepts/ideas, and reviews of the Debt Manager System and processes, recommending specific options.
  • Monitor programme timescales and budgets, making recommendations to overcome delays, difficulties or cost over-runs.
  • Timely and accurate completion of own project deliverables, assessing and managing risks and identifying counter measures.
  • Develop and maintain effective working and influencing relationships with appropriate colleagues.
  • Deliver project-related presentations to gain acceptance and support for forthcoming changes.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Experience and knowledge of the End to End Debt Manager v6.2 system including Front End agent screens, system set up and administration.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Debt Manager v6.2 Oracle Database tables and fields.
  • Previous experience of Transformational or Integration programmes within a Debt Manager environment.
  • Advanced understanding of SQL to enable the design and build of effective of Debt Manager Functionality and carry out detailed system analysis.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Excel in Particular) to enable the extraction and Analysis of raw data.
