Locum Clinical Psychologist Band 8A/8B - HPC registered, is URGENTLY required for a partner client in the North West of the UK. Required for a soon as possible start until the end of March 2012.

To provide a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychology service for people within the adult community care pathway and the MDT. Working along the care pathways to ensure that service users are offered the most appropriate clinical service to meet their needs.

The post holder will provide highly specialist assessments, formulations and interventions (including neuropsychological assessments)

A key function of the role will be to support the multi-disciplinary community teams in developing a psychological understanding and context for service users and carers. Some assessment and formulation for Inpatient service users is required to support the MDT's and transition.

The successful candidate will need:-
To be HPC registered
Experience of specialist psychology assessment and treatment of secondary care service users across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care and in-patient settings.
Have completed training in the supervision of trainee clinical psychologists
Further training /qualification in Neuropsychology
