Use of IT the key to rejuvenating a business, says DMA
IT contractors will have a key role to play in the economic recovery of many businesses, the Direct Marketing Agency (DMA) has claimed.

Employing technology for marketing purposes is an "absolute must" for any company looking to improve its position after the recession, according to the DMA.

This could mean jobs for IT contractors as small to medium-sized business look for assistance with their technology capabilities.

"Nowadays, if you don't have technology you're not going to move with the times," said Kevin Dendy, commercial director at the DMA.

Integrating technology with traditional marketing processes will be "absolutely key" for any business that wants to move forward, Mr Dendy added.

Back in January the DMA published research that found a "direct correlation" between the incorporation of media channels into traditional marketing methods and the consumer's response to the campaign.

It is the speed and expansiveness of technology that keeps marketing competitive, according to integrated marketing agency GyroHSR.ADNFCR-2994-ID-19642200-ADNFCR
