UK 'demands strong and secure broadband network'
IT contractors may find their biggest challenge in future is dealing with a broadband network that has reached its limit, according to a new survey.

The 10yearsofBroadband survey, conducted by digital information and internet services company iBAHN, polled members of the broadband community over February and March.

It found that 72 per cent of users were concerned or very concerned that the UK is reaching its limit of broadband capability, with 38 per cent thinking that increased data traffic will be the biggest problem for broadband networks in the next few weeks.

According to Graeme Powell, managing director of iBAHN, the results show that the broadband community demands a strong and secure network.

"This survey underlines that it is an essential issue that needs to be addressed fully to answer the concerns of businesses and consumers in the UK," he said.

Broadband access is absolutely essential for business users, claims Gill Upton, editor of the Business Travel Magazine.ADNFCR-2994-ID-19713887-ADNFCR
