SMEs want less red tape in budget, expert says

Contractors and other small business owners want George Osborne's upcoming Budget to decrease red tape and business taxation, one expert has claimed.
Martin Lyne, director of small to medium enterprise (SME) at T-Mobile, said that if Mr Osborne takes into account the concern of small businesses in the Budget, the whole economy could get a boost.
He added that small businesses are also keen to see greater support from major banks regarding loans and more flexibility with arrangements.
"Any changes that the government can initiate to make the lives of small business owners easier will benefit the economy as a whole, boosting the UK's employment rates and our position in the global market," he explained.
Chancellor of the exchequer George Osborne is set to make his Budget statement in the House of Commons on Wednesday March 23rd at 12.30pm.
According to the coalition, the Budget will promote a strong and stable economy, growth and fairness.
