Make the most of National Freelancer Day

The PCG is urging contractors and freelancers to get involved in National Freelancers Day at the end of this month.
National Freelancers Day 2010, which is taking place on November 23rd, is an opportunity for the contracting community to reflect on its contribution to society, claims the PCG.
"We want the day to spotlight the freelance community, explore its boundaries and direction and ultimately to champion freelancing. Frankly, the more people engage, the more effective it will be," it says.
Contractors are invited to enjoy the day by attending a Freelance Lecture at London's Stationers' Hall with the theme of Freeing up Potential.
The lecture will tackle the effect of socio economic trends on business, the increasingly pivotal role of freelancers and how to capitalise on this.
Other suggestions include attending the supporting event Mastermind in a Box in Slough, Shoreditch and Guildford or share top tips on the National Freelancer Day website.
