IT contractors 'number one for romance'
IT contractors are among the most romantic people in the UK when it comes to buying gifts for their partners, new research has shown.
Into The Blue has found that 73 per cent of people in the IT sector have something special planned for their other half this Valentine's Day, compared to 39 per cent of men in total.
Half of IT contractors had been considering what to purchase for more than a month, compared to a similar number of men who still had not even thought about what to buy.
IT contractors came ahead of musicians, artists and doctors in the survey, while personal trainers and stock brokers were the least romantic.
Rob Holmes, ecommerce and marketing manager for the company, stated: "Certain professions can have a level of influence … I think that this is reflective on the jobs that allow people to be more creative, like IT workers."
Last month, the firm released research showing that IT contractors are the most likely to take part in adventurous experiences and activities outside work.
