IT contractors 'need not worry about Google Instant'

IT contractors specialising in search engine optimisation (SEO) have been assured that Google Instant is not that big a change to the search world.
Sam Tilston, director of IdeaTaxi.com, says that the advent of Instant is "evolutionary rather than revolutionary".
Google Suggest has been around for a long time, the only difference is that the use now doesn't have to click through, Mr Tilston claims.
He goes on to say that Instant does not alter the search results it simply changes the way in which the user received them, meaning that current SEO strategies should remain the largely the same.
It is expected that Google Instant will become the global standard search engine.
"As Google Instant is being rolled out internationally and it's quite difficult to find where to turn it off I think it will supersede Google classic," Mr Tilston said.
Google sites led the US explicit core search market in August 2010 with a 65.4 per cent market share, according to digital management company comScore.
