IT contractors 'must choose right internet package'

IT contractors and other internet users who are dissatisfied with their broadband speed are so because they expect more from their connection, one expert has said.
According to Michael Phillips, product director at BroadbandChoices.co.uk, around two-thirds of people are satisfied with their broadband speed.
He said the best way to rectify this is by making sure each individual has the package most suited to their needs.
"If you are the type of person who is not downloading, then make sure you don't overspend on your package; at least be spending less rather than spending a lot of money on something when you're not actually using the functionality," he advised.
In other IT contracting news, cloud computing is to boom in 2011, according to one expert.
Rob Lovell, chief executive officer at ThinkGrid said that cloud allows companies more choice and is changing the way people access and pay for IT.
