IT contractors 'could find new cloud computing opportunities'
Cloud computing is becoming an increasingly important concept for UK businesses, an organisation has asserted, which could create new opportunities for IT contractors.

Alan Calder, chief executive of IT Governance, claimed that this can be a new and frightening idea but is actually not unfamiliar to many users.

He said that this has begun to enter most firms' radars due to many organisations' focus on keeping costs low.

"There are risks, however, and managing these risks is core to strategic success," he asserted, highlighting the potential value of IT contractors familiar with this feed.

Kevin McDonald, author, added that that data protection is a crucial element when people are choosing between service providers.

Dan Grabham, editor of TechRadar.com, recently claimed that Manchester's recently announced fibre network could lead more firms to set up shop in the city, creating new jobs for IT contractors.

He said that this technology would offer a significant improvement over other localised networks.ADNFCR-2994-ID-19587849-ADNFCR
