IT contractor job vacancies 'will continue to grow'
The number of employment opportunities for IT contractors will continue to grow, a leading data centre provider has claimed.
Data centres in particular will continue to expand their workforces, as increasing numbers of businesses move towards cloud computing, according to BlueSquare Data.
The firm has taken on many new staff themselves, having seen an upsurge in demand for their services.
"We have a lot of clients coming to us with virtualisation. And everybody has their own idea of what virtualisation is, so it's about working with customers to make sure we can fit what they want," Mr Munson said.
Earlier this month, a report by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation found that the number of candidates for IT positions was outstripping demand.
Cloud computing provider ThinkGrid said that businesses would "flock" to the system once more understanding of its benefits became widespread.
