Isas are a great option for savers, expert says

Contractors and other professionals should take out Isas for a good saving experience, according to one expert.
Tony Vine-Lott, director general of Taxi Incentivised Savings Association, said that Isas are an extremely popular, tax free and understandable way of saving.
He said: "I expect the popularity to grow as more people clear their short-term debts and are able to start saving. New developments like the proposed 'Junior ISA' and the 'Workplace ISA' concept will, I am certain, also increase the accessibility and appeal of Isas."
Meanwhile, HM Revenue & Customs says that the deadline for sending online tax returns is midnight on Monday January 31st.
In addition, registration for online submission must be completed on January 21st 2010 and the deadline is only pushed back if the individual received their tax return or the letter asking them to complete one, after October 2010.
