Contractors propose the abolition of IR35

Abolition of IR35 has featured significantly on a new website that asks which laws should be scrapped.
The Your Freedom site was launched by deputy prime minister Nick Clegg at the start of this month, with the Liberal Democrat explaining that this "real shake-up of politics" would be a chance for people have a say in policy-making.
One of the first laws put up for abolition was the IR35 tax legislation that has become a burden to many IT contractors and self-employed workers.
Since then, the proposal to axe IR35 has received significant support, according to advice site Contract Eye.
More than 350 people supported the idea when it was first put firward, and since then it has been proposed another 21 times, the site notes.
"Given the coalition's existing pledges to review IR35, entries such as these can only help maintain the pressure on the Government to launch their review of small business taxation without unnecessary delay.
