Contractors may benefit from enhanced entrepreneurship

IT contractors may benefit from expanding their talents in a constantly evolving workplace.
Young people preparing to join the workforce have been advised to develop their entrepreneurial skills by advisory service Entrepreneurs in Action.
The firm's chief executive and founder, Derek Browne, said: "Every young person needs to be entrepreneurially-minded if they are to make the most of their talents in a world where many of the jobs they will do haven't even been invented yet.
"People need the confidence, drive and imagination to find new ways of meeting needs and making a living."
This is not the only plea for improved entrepreneurial skills across the UK. Earlier this week, the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) called on ministers to foster a culture of business talent.
The FSB is particularly concerned about the prospect of rising unemployment in the UK and is keen to ensure that the government recognises the need to create new business opportunities, as well as new employment within existing organisations.
