Business editor backs David Cameron's message

The business editor of the Daily Telegraph has praised freelancers in an article backing David Cameron's comments on National Freelancers Day.
Damian Reece also sat on the panel at PCG's inaugural Freelance Lecture and put forward his views around the theme of freeing up potential.
In the article entitled Why we should all thank the UK's freelancers, the Mr Reece encourages the business community to get behind freelancers as the prime minister has.
He also highlights the failures of IR35 and the overall tax system in failing to deal with the rise of freelancing effectively.
This comes after David Cameron praised the work of contractors on National Freelancers Day.
"I can't tell you how much admiration I have for people who leave the comfort of a regular wage to strike out on their own. It takes a lot of courage - and without that courage this country would be a much poorer place," he said.
