Adventure breaks 'most popular among IT contractors'
IT contractors looking to blow off steam are the most likely profession to take part in experience days, new research has showed.

Into the Blue has found one in three people working in IT prefer adventurous breaks such as spygame or survival trips as these vary strongly from their working day.

It found 37 per cent of IT contractors have taken part in an adventure-based experience day in the last 12 months - more than in any other field.

Rob Holmes, ecommerce and marketing manager of the website, claimed that this is an example of "Superman syndrome" - where mild-mannered workers take on an exciting persona outside of the office.

He said: "At first glance, it would seem that IT workers are developing themselves an army of super covert, gun-capable soldiers!"

IT contractors could soon get more time off if the Agency Workers Rights bill is passed into law, as this will give temporary employees the same holidays rights as permanent staff.ADNFCR-2994-ID-19576832-ADNFCR
